From 30-foot Airstreams with Rolls Royce interiors to riverside yurts with loft beds: discover the best places to stay near the Royal Gorge.
Staying overnight near the Royal Gorge transforms a day trip into a true adventure getaway. Royal Gorge Vacation Rentals offers everything from luxury cabins with hot tubs to riverside glamping that puts you steps from the Arkansas River.
Luxury Cabins
Our luxury cabins feature modern design with 1- and 2-bedroom layouts, located just 8 miles from Cañon City and about an hour from Colorado Springs. Don't let the word "rustic" fool you. These cabins come equipped with central air conditioning, flat-screen TVs, Wi-Fi, and indoor/outdoor fireplaces. Private hot tubs, full kitchens, and spacious decks with mountain views make them perfect for couples or small families.
Riverside Yurts
At the Royal Gorge Adventure Beach, 10 riverside glamping yurts go beyond typical glamping. Each 20-foot-diameter yurt features an upper-level loft with plenty of space to stretch out. You'll find two deluxe queen-size beds (one in the loft above), an outdoor patio, and an open-air outdoor kitchen with a BBQ grill. Fall asleep to the sound of the Arkansas River just steps from your door.
Airstream Glamping
Our latest addition: four brand-new 30-foot Flying Cloud Airstreams where luxury meets the outdoors. Each sleeps up to four people and is equipped with a full kitchen, living and dining area, and two separate sleeping spaces. Outside, a lavish patio includes a fire pit, BBQ grill, and seating, all with scenic views of the surrounding landscape.
Glamping Tents
For a more traditional glamping experience, each tent is fully equipped with queen-size beds, a sofa sleeper, a furnished private deck, electricity, and Wi-Fi. Fire rings with seating and picnic tables complete the campsite feel while maintaining creature comforts.
Adventure Packages
The best value comes from bundling lodging with activities. Vacation packages for a group of 4 that include rafting, ziplining, and a 2-night Airstream stay start at $1,700. Yurt packages are also available for more budget-friendly group trips.
What to Expect at the Adventure Beach
The Royal Gorge Adventure Beach location puts you right in the heart of the action. Check in, drop your bags, and walk to the river. Morning rafting trips depart just minutes away. The Whitewater Bar & Grill is on-site for dinner, and you can watch the sunset over the canyon walls from your yurt patio.
